  2. Ask God to let your husband love Jesus and Mary more than you do, and have your children pray this prayers with you. children's prayers are so powerful. Also, say the powerful St. Andrew advent novena 15 x a day (its short and sweet) til CHristmas. It's ok that you are starting it late. It normally starts Nov. 30 but you can start now. It's a beautiful prep adn powerful novena for Christmas. God be with you and the Holy Ghost strengthen and Our Blessed Mother help you. we will pray too.

  4. This is a very insightful and beautiful guide for me to teach my children about Catholicism. Thanks for this. :) I was actually praying that more of these be published because I could not afford putting my kids in a catholic school.

  5. I happened onto this blog and would like to make a few comments. I have been teaching Kinder students for 35 yrs. One of my best 'finds' has been Fr. Brennan books. We have 4 hard bound books in a series, at our book store and you can get them online & Amazon probably. One year while teaching St. Theresa's "Little Way" (someone) whispered "tell them she did 'secrets', (I was saying sacrifices or do penance before this). As soon as I said 'it's a secret for you and Jesus" don't tell anyone so you can obtain a "big grace". You should have seen their little eyes pop open and little hands covered their mouths. This was in my 5th yr. teaching and have taught 'secrets' every year since. One little story: A little soul taught me one day, and touched my heart forever. My little blond/big blue eyed boy (who was quite active) responded to my "Good-bye and God bless you" at the end of each day, with "Good-bye, God Bless you and I hope you go to Heaven Mrs. S......" . That was 4 yrs. ago and I have been using 'his' good-bye ever since. So Good-bye, God bless you and I hope "you all go to Heaven"!
